The name does not only give away the location on a small hill - kläpp - it also shows that the buildings on this location are some of Harad's oldest. The first settlements were built on the moraine hills and fields were ploughed on the hillsides.

Kläppgården gives a good picture of the life in the Edefors area during mainly the 19th Century and the early 20th Century. This includes tools, furniture, kitchen utensils, clothes and books - all donations from local resident
