“The church cottages hillside” is a centrally located area west of the church cottages and is characterised by an assortment of “odd plants” - odd for growing in Boden that is. Since the fifties trees and bushes, partly twin town gifts, have been collected here in order to present them to the public in a well-defined area.

The plants have tags and during summer time a catalogue can be obtained at church cottage reception. Amongst others you find common oak, horse chestnut, snowbird hawthorn, Serbian spruce, red-leaved birch, Korean Mountain Ash, Siberian spruce, Rhododendron and Azalea here.

Why not bring a picnic basket and have lunch or coffee in the captivating nature!
