Rödberget fortress - a part of Boden´s Fortress

Take a lope into the military history. On Rödbergsfortet you will find all furnishings and equipment remaining, showing how the fort was used in everyday life and how it was meant to serve in combat.

Boden Fortress includes five fort interspersed in the mountains, located in a ring around the city center during the early 1900s. This is Swedens only "girdle fortress". The unique defence construction is now a national monument.

Guided tours daily during period june-july. Only bigger parties during period aug-may.
